After having an interesting conversation with Mr. Bonicci and my parents on the, parent teacher conferences, one of my areas to improve were my English skills. Although I am improving on using the English language, I still need to work harder in order to dominate it.
When graduated from Roosevelt, I wouldn’t like to think that I am leaving school without using the English resources that this school gives us to their maximum. I can reflect back and think of all those times in which our teachers have told us to speak in English and not in Spanish. Or all those times were you haven’t raised your hand because of the fear of not expressing yourself properly in English.

Think about it. The Innovation Academy is given us unlimited opportunities for developing our English skills. We are writing blogs every week, writing articles for The Break every month and having class discussions in English almost every day. What else can I ask?
Since I have now realized how lucky I am, I wont waste this opportunity and I will use those resources to practice my English. Some of the things that I can do are, read more books in English, participate more on the class discussion and revise my work twice or even three times before sending it. I look forward to see how my English improves during my time in the IA.
