Contacts where giving by museum directory from local schools in the area. Transportation was arranged by us so kids could get to museum on time scheduled.
Planning
We were creative when coordinating with the school to plan their visit to the museum as we needed to plan their whole experience. We had to create their itinerary and the activities, giving them the power to learn more about local culture.
Action
This gave us and students more information about our past and a chance to connect with them. We showed action by actually being involved with the kids in Ancon. We visited the museum 4 days and toured two different schools per day.
Reflection
Very important because although we come from totally different backgrounds, we still need to be united by our history. At the end we are all Peruvians and we need to embrace our culture.
